WILLIAM ( KNOWN AS BILL) WAS A GREAT DAD GRANDAD AND FRIEND TO ALL. HE WAS ALSO A GREAT PIPER.
HE IS REMEMBERED EVERY DAY IN OUR LIFES.
WE ALL MISS HIM.
REST IN PEACE ...SAFE IN OUR LORDS KEEPING NOW AND FOREVER MORE.
IT IS FIVE YEARS TODAY THAT WE LOST HIM.THE THIRD OF OCTOBER 2003. A DAY THAT WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR
THE REST OF OUR LIVES.
I WILL NEVER FORGET HOW KIND HE WAS TO ME IN TREATING ME LIKE ONE OF HIS OWN DAUGHTERS.... A VERY
SPECIAL MAN FOREVER IN MY HEART.GREATLY RESPECTED BY ME AND ALL WHO KNEW HIM.

BILL WORKED HARD ALL HIS LIFE,SOMETIMES HOLDING DOWN MANY JOBS AT ONCE.I KNOW HE WAS NEVER OUT OF
WORK.
HE LOVED HIS FAMILY AND WAS A FAIR MAN ANYONE WOULD BE PROUD TO HAVE AS A DAD / GRANDAD AND
HUSBAND.
HE LOVED TO PLAY THE PIPES AND WAS A GREAT PIPER. HE WAS PIPE SARGENT IN THE FIRE SERVICE PIPE BAND
THAT WENT ON TO WIN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
PIPING COMPETION IN COWEL IN SCOTLAND.
HE ALSO PLAYED PIPES AT OUR WEDDING SOMETHING I WILL NEVER FORGET.
HE GAVE TO MY HUSBAND JOHN THE GIFT OF LEARNING THE BAGPIPE.MUSIC IS VERY MUCH PART OF OUR
FAMILY.JOHN PLAYED THE PIPES AT HIS DADS FUNERAL SERVICE AS WELL.HIS DAD ASKED JOHN TO DO THIS ONE
LAST THING FOR HIM.
JOHN PLAYED "FLOWERS OF THE FOREST " A LAST LAMENT FOR HIS DEAR DAD.

To My Dearest Family,
Some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know,
That I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness;
Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
Just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you
Every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
When my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me
And He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again,
You were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
They'll be here later on.
There's so much that we have to do,
To help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things,
That he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list,
Was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night
The day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....
In the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth,
And all those loving years.
Because you are only human,
They are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry:
It does relieve the pain.
